Global engineering business require a Procurement Manager (Indirect). Applicants need broad indirect procurement experience and expertise across the full procurement lifecycle; supplier selection, sourcing/tendering, supplier relationship and contracts management.
The Procurement Manager - Indirect will be responsible for leading all indirect goods and services procurement activity for the business covering a small number of UK sites. Category spend areas in focus is everything from; IT, corporate/business services, FM, technical services, to PPE, uniforms and stationary/office equipment. Previous experience across all category areas is not required, the role would suit an indirect procurement generalist who is a self-starter and confident in stakeholder interactions.
Specific duties of the Procurement Manager - Indirect, include:
Stakeholder partnering - understand scope, manage relationships, facilitate 360 feedback with suppliers Develop and implement indirect procurement strategies Supply market intelligence and supplier selection activities Manage high-value and complex tenders, right through to award Post-signature supplier relationship, supplier development and contract negotiation and management of agreements Support procurement leadership with process improvement or particular cost reduction projects
