Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join an interesting, arms-length, Re-Insurance organisation as a Procurement & Commercial Services Business Partner within the Legal Risk & Governance team. You will play a key role in delivering Procurement and Commercial Services, ensuring compliance and driving value across the business.
Role & Responsibilities
Build strong, trusted relationships across the organisation to deliver joined-up procurement and commercial solutions Ensure adherence to procurement policy, legislation, and best practice Lead regulated, strategic, and high-value procurement activities, as well as support below-threshold procurement Conduct supplier assurance, due diligence, and market analysis to optimise value and quality Support contract management activities, implementing best practice and maintaining consistency Administer eSourcing systems, contract registers, and provide management information to support decision-making Act as a Control Owner within the Risk Management Framework, ensuring robust controls and compliance
Skills & Experience
An excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels Highly organised and able to manage contract workloads independently Innovative and adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvement Proven track record of managing large tenders and procurement processes end-to-end Strong stakeholder engagement, including at senior leadership level Experience with eSourcing and contract management platforms MCIPS qualified (or working towards) with relevant procurement experience Public Sector experience essential and Financial Services desirable Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI An excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels Highly organised and able to manage contract workloads independently Innovative and adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvement
