About the Role
Seeking Procurement Consultants / Managers to support major civil infrastructure programmes shaping the economy and the built environment. Work within multi-sector teams on high-profile projects across transport, utilities, highways, rail, and wider public infrastructure. Opportunity to develop leadership skills and play a key role in project delivery and team development. Expected to hold (or be working towards) MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent professional qualification. Consultancy background , with proven client-focused mindset and confidence in managing complex stakeholder environments. Contribute to business growth through relationship building, supporting work winning, and mentoring junior team members. Take ownership of project procurement from market engagement to contract award, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance with Public Contracts Regulations.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline. MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent professional chartership. 5+ years' experience leading multiple procurements of large-scale civil infrastructure or construction projects. Strong understanding of public sector procurement, delivery models, routes to market, and contract strategies. Familiarity with standard form contracts including NEC and FIDIC. Skilled in market engagement, supplier analysis, and commercial risk assessment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlines and budgets. Confident in delegating effectively, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Client-focused approach, dedicated to building strong relationships and exceeding expectations. Business development experience beneficial.
