Procurement Lead / Buyer Nottingham (Hybrid working) Upto £55,000 + Bonus + Bens Our client is a leading independent wholesale entering an ambitious period of multi business growth. As Procurement Lead, you will take ownership of procurement, sourcing across the Group, with responsibility for delivering value, maintaining high service levels, and enabling margin growth. This includes ensuring strong supplier partnerships, robust processes, and operational visibility that supports scale, speed, and sustainability. Responsibilities: * Ensure reliable supply and stock availability across both businesses to meet customer and service demands. * Develop and implement a group-wide sourcing strategy that leverages scale, delivers cost savings, and ensures quality and ethical standards. * Rationalise supplier base where appropriate while securing continuity, compliance, and innovation. * Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers and ensure favourable terms and service level adherence. * Champion supplier relationship management and performance tracking at Group level. * Ensure all procurement and supply activities are fully compliant with legal, regulatory, and quality standards * Maintain and own procurement policies, vendor onboarding protocols, and documentation in line with external and internal audit standards. * Anticipate and manage supply risks, including regulatory change, product shortages, or ESG non-conform...
