Procurement Engineer x 2 (Bridgwater Office, Bristol Offices, Site Office and Home, some travel)

Job Purpose:

The Procurement Engineer Associate will support the Procurement Engineers in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of spares, consumables, and materials required for HPC commissioning and maintenance programmes. This role prioritises nuclear safety and requires close collaboration with various departments, including Pre-Operations, Commissioning, and Installation. You will have access to training and technical documentation to fulfil your responsibilities effectively.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Take ownership of key elements in the Procurement Engineering Strategy and manage any emergent issues related to its delivery
• Utilise digital tools to conduct technical evaluations of plant spares
• Support the creation of operational spares catalogues, including creating identifiers, assigning quality assurance grades, and conducting quality reviews
• Contribute to the development of digital tools
• Assist with quality control inspections of operational spares
• Create operational process documents for procurement engineering and spares management
