This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive and cutting-edge University in a truly beautiful location, where you can make a real difference.
Exciting, challenging and diverse; the role of Procurement Analyst is to support stakeholders from across the organisation to buy the right goods/works/services in accordance with our Policies and processes.
You will work alongside a team of Procurement professionals with a wealth of experience gained from a mixture of sectors. We work to a Category Management model, are passionate about Higher Education and place students at the heart of everything we do.
You will support the University to achieve value for money and manage risk when buying from a truly diverse range of markets and suppliers. Your contribution to the team will firmly support the University in delivering against its strategic goals.
With existing procurement experience, you will be confident and commercially aware with strong communication skills. You will use these skills to deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
In addition, you will have experience of interpreting and manipulating data to transform it into actionable information to inform sourcing decisions.
A relevant procurement qualification or equivalent is desirable. This role would be suitable for a procurement professional seeking to progress their career, and the University is committed to supporting professional development and attainment of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) qualifications.
Working alongside the Senior Procurement Manager to develop and execute Category Plans, you will be confident participating in tendering activities, developing supplier relationships, and negotiating best value.
For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
