Proclaim Developer
Hybrid working
This is a business near Manchester operating in a regulated, process-driven environment, where Proclaim plays a central role in managing work, data and outcomes.
This is a process-heavy environment with real complexity behind the scenes. Data matters. Workflow design matters. Decisions made in Proclaim have a direct impact on performance, risk and client outcomes. The leadership team knows this, which is why this hire matters.
Theyre looking for a Proclaim Developer who wants to own the platform properly. Someone who understands how systems behave once theyre exposed to scale, pressure and constant change, and who can design solutions that dont unravel six months down the line.
You wont be fed a backlog of half-baked requests. Youll be expected to think, question, and shape the work before it ever reaches build.
The role, day to day Taking full ownership of Proclaim development work, from early conversations through to delivery

Leading structured discussions with operational, legal and senior stakeholders to understand real-world problems, not surface symptoms

Developing and supporting Proclaim in a live, high-usage environment where reliability is critical

Building workflows that improve efficiency and data quality without adding unnecessary complexity

Writing and refining SQL to support reporting and operational insight

Providing clear, commercially grounded technical input during change initiatives

What theyre looking for Strong, practical experience developing within Proclaim

A track record of scoping work properly and setting expectations before development begins

The ability to work confidently with non-technical teams

SQL

A problem-solving mindset that prioritises long-term fixes over quick wins

This is a grown-up Proclaim role. Youll be trusted, listened to and expected to bring judgement, not just technical skill.
If youre the sort of developer who cares about how systems actually perform in the real world, this is well worth a conversation with Standard 8.
