Job description: Job Overview The Process Technician is responsible for providing area co-ordination and technical expertise within the Thermoforming & Extrusion department focusing on process optimization, product changeovers, machine adjustments, verification of product quality standards and informed technical fault finding. The Technician will be trained in GPUK processes, including the operation of equipment, machine process & operational settings, changeover procedures, quality standards andspecifications. Effective communication of information within the Shift management / technician structure and across the various shift patterns is a key part of the role. This role will have a focus on continuous improvement and participate as appropriate in continuous improvement activity. Your profile Essential 3+ years relevant experience as a Machine Operator Logical Thinker Evidence of strong technical competence IT Literate & proficient with Microsoft, SAP & digital equipment Possess good communication skills and have a keen willingness to learn/lead others 12 months experience in production process, preferably the relevant technology/process i.e., extrusion/forming/IML/Decoration Preferable Thermoforming & Extrusion experience Experience of a continuous improvement environment Skills & Abilities Flexibility in relation to shifts Technical proficiency with hand tools & Machine HMI screens Our Offer Factory location in Northern Ireland, therefore you must have right to work in the UK 36.3 hours per week, 18.54pm to 07.00am Friday to Sunday Annual salary: £38,023per annum Enhanced Company Sick Pay Death in Service Benefit (Salary x 2) Profit Related Pay (qualifying conditions applicable) 1 additional holiday per annum after 5 years service Plus many more Profile description: Not applicable for interfaces Skills: Management People skills Manufacturing
