Manufacturing Process Engineer Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Location: Lancaster Salary: Around £35,000 per year
About the Role An established manufacturing organisation is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join its operations team. This role will focus on supporting new product launches, enhancing production processes, and driving efficiency through lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Improve coating and converting processes to reduce waste, enhance safety, and increase efficiency. Lead and support new product launches from initial concept through to full-scale production. Identify and deliver continuous improvement projects to improve quality, safety, and process performance. Work collaboratively with teams across R&D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain functions. Partner with maintenance engineers and production teams to ensure effective process integration and troubleshooting. Analyse production data and implement corrective actions to resolve process challenges. Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
