Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Process Engineer Surface Technology within the Process Engineering department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.
This Process Engineer Surface Technology position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation, review and continuous improvement of LTLGS plating shop processes and standards, identification of areas for new plating shop tooling, supporting internal or external resources to manufacture required tooling and to troubleshoot plating production defects, in order to ensure the production of quality parts. This include definition of quality KPI metrics for trend and root cause analysis.
Role Responsibilities will include:
Developing, configuring and optimising LTLGS processes from inception through to start up and steady state monitoring. Assessing data from said processes for best practices and continuous improvement Create and document LTLGS standards (materials / test methods / equipment etc.) Perform and maintain FMEA analysis for all plating shop processes, ensuring that risk mitigation actions are in place and being managed.
