Overview


We are acting on behalf of a leading European private credit platform with a long-standing presence across the UK and the Nordics. The firm manages multi-billion-euro capital commitments across senior secured, unitranche, and special situations strategies, partnering closely with private equity sponsors and founder-owned businesses.

As part of its longer-term succession and growth planning, the platform expects to add a junior investment professional to its London team, with a clear Nordic focus and the potential to relocate to Sweden after an initial period in London. This is not an immediate hire, but an opportunity for high-calibre candidates to engage early ahead of expected hiring activity next year.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support origination and execution of private credit transactions across the Nordic region and broader Europe
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, credit papers, and investment committee materials Assist with due diligence including business analysis, cash flow assessment, downside protection, and structuring
  • Monitor portfolio investments, covenant compliance, and performance post-close
  • Work closely with senior team members, sponsors, advisors, and management teams


Candidate Profile


  • 2–3 years of experience from a top-tier investment bank, private credit fund, private equity, or leading consulting firm
  • Strong grounding in credit analysis, leveraged finance, or corporate finance
  • Native or fluent Swedish speaker with strong professional English
  • Willingness to be based in London for the first 1 -2 years s, with openness to relocating to Sweden thereafter
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a lean, performance-driven environment
