A leading Top 10 accountancy and advisory firm is seeking a Private Client Tax Director to join its growing team in Nottingham.This team advises a diverse client base including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, trusts, private equity executives and family-owned businesses, supporting them with complex tax planning, compliance and long-term wealth structuring. The role offers the opportunity to act as a trusted adviser to clients with sophisticated tax affairs while playing a key role in leading and developing a high-performing team.The RoleAs a Director, you will take responsibility for leading client relationships, delivering high-quality tax advice and supporting the continued growth of the private client practice. You will work closely with Partners and senior leadership while helping shape the strategic direction of the team.Key responsibilities include:Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families and entrepreneurial clients, acting as a trusted adviser on complex tax mattersProviding strategic advice across areas such as succession planning, wealth structuring, and business restructuringOverseeing the delivery of both advisory and compliance work, ensuring technical excellence and high standards of client serviceLeading large or complex client engagements and coordinating multidisciplinary teams where requiredMaintaining and developing strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand existing engagementsManaging WIP, billing and financial performance across your portfolioSupporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the private client practiceCoaching and mentoring junior team members, helping to develop the next generation of leaders within the teamYour ExperienceThe successful candidate will typically demonstrate:ACA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)Strong experience advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and private client structures such as trusts and family investment vehiclesProven experience managing complex client portfolios and delivering both advisory and compliance servicesStrong leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring junior staffExcellent relationship-building and communication skillsCommercial awareness and the ability to identify new business opportunitiesThe ability to lead projects and manage multiple engagements simultaneouslyThis role offers the opportunity to join a well-established and fast-growing private client practice, providing exposure to complex advisory work, high-profile clients and clear progression within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environmentJBRP1_UKTJ
