Private Client Solicitor – Yorkshire (Hybrid) | Up to £65,000


I’m recruiting for a rare and highly attractive in-house opportunity within a well‑established, multi‑disciplinary professional services organisation operating across Yorkshire. The business has a strong reputation for combining legal expertise with wider advisory services and continues to expand its in-house legal function.


This position sits within the Private Client offering and is ideal for a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive from NQ level + looking for a more integrated, client-focused environment without the pressures of time recording.


About the Role


This role involves providing high‑quality legal advice on a range of complex matters, including:


  • Wills and succession planning
  • Inheritance Tax issues
  • Trusts (drafting and advisory)
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Collaborative work with internal advisory teams to support shared clients


You will manage a varied caseload, meet clients to understand their needs, draft bespoke documentation, and maintain high standards of compliance and case management. There is also the opportunity to support junior team members and contribute to the wider development of the department.


Location: Yorkshire (hybrid working available).

Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience.

The Ideal Candidate


  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX
  • 1–3+ years’ PQE in Private Client work
  • Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Professional, discreet, and proactive in approach
