Job Opportunity: Private Client Solicitor

Location: Glasgow

Overview:

A growing Private Client team is seeking a Solicitor to handle a varied caseload covering estate planning, trusts and executries. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues while managing your own matters, benefiting from high levels of client contact, collaboration across departments and clear opportunities for progression.

Role Requirements:

    \n
  • Managing a private client caseload including wills, estate planning, trusts and executries
  • Advising on inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax matters
  • Meeting clients in person and via phone/video to provide clear, empathetic advice
  • Collaborating with Senior Lawyers and referring work across departments
  • Supporting business development and contributing to wider team growth

Experience:

    \n
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a private client role
  • Confident handling cases with technical accuracy and care
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Compassionate, client‑focused and well organised

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Case and time management abilities
  • Proactive, diligent and positive attitude toward client service
