This established South Wales firm has been providing trusted legal advice to individuals, families and businesses for over a century and has built a strong reputation across South Wales and the South West. Known for its approachable and client focused service, the firm offers a wide range of legal services and is recognised for delivering clear, practical advice with a strong emphasis on long term client relationships and high standards of client care.

Following continued growth, the firm is now expanding its presence further with the opening of a new office in Swansea July 2026, creating an exciting opportunity for a private client lawyer to lead department in the region.

The Role

This is a senior position where you will take responsibility for the private client offering in Swansea. You will manage your own caseload of private client matters while also playing a key role in strengthening the firms presence in the local market.

You will work closely with senior colleagues and partners across the wider firm on complex and high value matters when required. The role will involve developing strong relationships with clients, professional referrers and the wider community while maintaining the firms high standards of service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a private client solicitor looking to take on a senior role and help shape the growth of the Swansea office.

The Successful Candidate

A minimum of seven years experience in private client law is required for this role. You will have a strong and proven track record of handling a broad range of private client matters including wills, trusts, probate and estate planning.

The successful candidate will be commercially aware, confident in client relationships and motivated to lead the Swansea private client department.

Salary and Benefits

Salary up to £85,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
