Are you an experienced Private Banking or Wealth Management recruiter looking for the autonomy to help build and shape a brand-new market for our UK offices?

Gravitas Group is seeking a Practice Lead to establish and grow our Private Banking & Wealth Management desk.

Reporting directly to Simon Ackland, you will have the chance to help develop the market strategy while leveraging warm relationships already secured with top-tier institutions.

Gravitas already has successful and top performing Private Banking and Wealth Management Teams in Hong Kong and Singapore – now we want to replicate the same success in the UK…

Private Banking & Wealth Management - What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and leading the Private Banking & Wealth Management desk from inception.
• Operating as a true partner to the business, influencing strategy and shaping a long-term practice.
• Recruiting senior roles including but not limited to Private Bankers/Client Advisors, Trust & Wealth Planning practitioners, Investment Advisors and Front Office Wealth Management supporting roles.
• Driving full 360 recruitment processes—developing new relationships, delivering high-quality mandates, and closing senior-level placements.
• Growing a high-value client network across London, the UK, Europe, and beyond.

About You

You will have:

• 5+ years’ experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management recruitment (trust, wealth planning, private client strongly preferred)
• A track record of 360 delivery
• Appetite to build something from inception where you will take ownership and be a genuine partner alongside Simon
• A London network (you may be based anywhere in the UK, provided you can travel for regular client meetings)
