Job Description
Do you have 20+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience? Know your "Rotary Steerable" from your MWD? Taken tool design from concept through to commercialisation? Enjoy R&D and regard yourself as an SME within drilling tools?
A very exciting new role has been created for a Principle Mechanical Engineer for a drilling technology company setting up in Tewkesbury. You'll be spearheading the design and development of novel, never before done drilling tools from concept to prototype to commercialisation. Within a fast paced, "start up" type environment you'll be working with like-minded professionals who are motivated and passionate about drilling technology.
You'll have extensive experience at a Principle Mechanical Engineer level within the downhole tool design sector, combined with many years experience specifically developing tools such as RSS, MWD, LWD, Motors etc.
