Principal / Associate Engineer - Manchester\n £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits (circa £4,000)\n Multi-Disciplianrty Consultancy\n\nAn established consultancy is continuing to expand its Manchester presence and is looking for a Principal or Associate Engineer who wants to step into a role with real influence. This is a great chance to join a new and ambitious team where you'll be able to make your mark from day one.\n\nYou'll work across a wide mix of projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, support and mentor others, and play a key part in shaping the future of the Manchester office. If you enjoy variety, autonomy and the opportunity to help build something, this role will suit you well.\n\nThe Role\n\nTaking technical responsibility for drawings, calculations, reports and design documents-both your own and those produced by others\nConfident use of Civil 3D, CAD and other design/analysis tools, and supporting colleagues as they develop these skills\nSolving technical challenges and delivering practical, well-considered engineering solutions\nApplying current design standards and a clear understanding of CDM (2015) duties\nHelping refine internal processes to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery\nIdentifying and managing risks on your projects\nSupporting and mentoring team members in their technical development\nCarrying out site visits to understand constraints and monitor construction progress\nLeading project delivery and coordinating with clients, stakeholders and third parties\nCommunicating technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences\nManaging project programmes, resources and financial performance\nPreparing fee proposals and cost estimates\nBuilding and maintaining strong, positive client relationships\nTaking responsibility for ongoing professional development\nHelping promote the business and contributing to the growth of the Manchester team\n\nAbout You\n\nYou'll be someone who enjoys taking the lead, building relationships and finding practical solutions.
