With a global presence and a strong commitment to improving quality of life, they work across a wide range of sectors and complex projects.They are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer based in the UK with a strong technical background and proven experience leading structural aspects of projects of varying size and complexity.Their work spans multiple sectors, with a strong focus on industrial manufacturing, technology, education, government, and defence. Recent projects include data centres, distribution centres, gigafactories, advanced manufacturing facilities, microprocessor plants, as well as commercial, residential, retail, and public sector buildings. They are involved at all stages of projects, from concept through to delivery, including work on highly secure and complex existing assets.Role Responsibilities: Lead the design and coordination of structural engineering solutions across a diverse project portfolioManage both technical and commercial aspects of projectsLead and mentor teams of structural engineers and BIM modellersInterface with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teamsContribute to and uphold technical quality standards, including reviewing and validating the work of othersSupport the development and mentoring of junior engineers and colleagues Qualifications & Experience: Relevant degree in Structural or Civil EngineeringProfessionally qualified (ideally Chartered with IStructE or ICE)Existing SC clearance or eligibility to obtain clearanceStrong technical expertise across a range of structural engineering projectsExperience with structural materials and their practical application on siteFamiliarity with structural analysis and design softwareStrong understanding of health & safety and relevant regulationsExcellent communication skills, including technical report writingHigh attention to detail and strong review capabilityInterest in sustainability and delivering sustainable outcomesProven ability to manage teams and project resources effectivelyA collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor and share knowledge For more information, please contact Scarlet Wilson.JBRP1_UKTJ
