Join our partner as a Principal Simulation and Modelling Engineer, where you'll lead cutting-edge development, integration, and validation of dynamic numerical models that shape mission-critical systems. Key Skills and Qualifications:

Proven expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for system modelling and simulation. Strong understanding of dynamic systems, numerical modelling, and system engineering processes. Experience with model-based design methodologies and the software development lifecycle. Knowledge of coding standards, peer review practices, and configuration management. Hands-on experience with automated C/C++ code from Simulink. Proficiency with version control tools such as Git or EWM. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience working with external partners and cross-disciplinary teams.

Education and Experience:

A solid background in engineering, systems engineering, or related technical disciplines. Significant hands-on experience (ideally 5+ years) in simulation and modelling roles within a defence, aerospace, or similar high-tech environment.

Other Requirements:

British Citizenship with the ability to obtain SC security clearance post-offer. Willingness to work on-site full-time due to workload requirements. Flexibility for occasional travel as needed. Commitment to quality standards, documentation, and configuration management.
