Principal Mechanical Engineer (MEP) Location: Manchester Company: A Built Environment Consultancy The Opportunity Due to continued growth, a Built Environment Consultancy is looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join its MEP team in Manchester . Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of building services across a range of sectors including residential, education, healthcare, commercial and regeneration projects . The Role You will be responsible for the mechanical and public health design of building services installations, working closely with architects, engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key responsibilities include: Leading or supporting mechanical design across projects Producing design calculations, reports, drawings and specifications Using CAD/BIM tools (ideally Revit) and mechanical design software such as Hevacomp or IES Ensuring designs meet industry regulations, sustainability targets and health & safety requirements Engaging with clients and project stakeholders Supporting and mentori...
