ERS are delighted to be partnered with a highly regarded Building Services consultancy who are looking to appoint a Principal / Associate Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical discipline in their Cardiff office.
This is a key senior hire — ideal for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who wants real influence, leadership responsibility, and a clear route to shaping a growing regional team.

The role
Act as the Lead Mechanical Engineer for the Cardiff office
Deliver and oversee complex mechanical building services projects
Provide technical leadership, design assurance, and mentorship
Work closely with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams
Support business growth and team development in South Wales
About you
Proven experience in Building Services Mechanical Engineering
Strong background in consultancy-led project delivery
Confident leading projects, people, and client relationships
Degree qualified (BEng / MEng or equivalent)
Chartered or working towards Chartership (CIBSE / IMechE )
