Our client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on the design, development, and validation of control systems for a wide range of actuator products.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PTC Creo, although individuals with strong proficiency in other 3D CAD tools may also be considered. The successful applicant will be expected to lead and deliver a broad spectrum of engineering activities, ensuring full compliance with applicable processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
What Do You Need?: Degree/HND/HNC qualification with experience in Mechanical Design and Development in Electronics packaging, preferably in Defence or Aerospace industries. Proficiency in PCB Enclosure design for harsh environments, considering factors like shock, vibration, climatic conditions, and electromagnetic effects.
