The below job description outlines the position of Marine Civil Engineer Typically, this person will be responsible for delivering marine civil engineering projects from tender stage through execution and close-out, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality, and commercially successful outcomes.

Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Civil Engineer: Lead and contribute to tender submissions, providing engineering, methodology, and costing input.
Deliver marine and civil engineering projects including quays, jetties, foundations, coastal protection works, and nearshore infrastructure.
Manage project execution to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
Coordinate marine operations including vessels, workboats, plant, subcontractors, and logistics.
Identify and manage operational risks related to tides, metocean conditions, seabed, navigation, and environmental constraints.
Oversee site activities, reporting, quality control, and compliance with HSE and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and requirements for the Marine Civil Engineer: Degree-qualified in Marine, Civil, Coastal, Offshore, or related Engineering discipline.
Experience delivering marine civil works such as quay walls, jetties, subsea foundations, trenching, or coastal infrastructure.
Strong understanding of marine construction methods and workboat operations.
Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and stakeholders across multiple UK sites. xbpsjku
Willingness to travel within the UK.
