Principal Fire Engineer

Location: Glasgow, Bristol, Leeds

Our client's Building Design Practice are looking to appoint a Fire Engineer who is looking to further develop their career within a forward-thinking multi sector practice. This opportunity will involve working as part of a national practice of Design professionals delivering fire engineering design solutions to clients across a wide variety of sectors, including Cities & Development, Commercial, Energy, Residential and Transportation.

There is flexibility around where the role is based because although the majority of our current Fire Engineering team are based in Derby and London offices there is an ambition to grow Fire Engineering teams in the North and Southwest. Preferred UK locations: Bristol, Epsom, Glasgow, London or Derby.

As a Principal Fire Engineer, you will take responsibility for your own projects but also work collaboratively with other senior team members to develop the team and strengthen technical capability.

Your purpose:

Work in a range of sectors from residential buildings through to rail transportation or new energy facilities. Manage multiple engineering projects from inception through to delivery in support of fire safety standards and codes. Support the delivery of project work within time and cost budgets.
