The Role of the Principal Fire Engineer
Lead the delivery of fire engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and compliance.
Provide strategic and technical advice to clients, design teams, and stakeholders.
Manage and mentor engineers at various levels, supporting their professional growth and development.
Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality assurance processes.
Contribute to business development through client relationship management and proposal writing.About the Principal Fire Engineer
Degree-qualified in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
Significant experience in fire engineering, ideally with Chartered status (CEng/MIFireE).
Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage client relationships.
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, standards, and design codes.
