\n\n What You’ll Be Doing:\n
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of safety verification, authoring and managing site assets’ and infrastructure design substantiation documentation to support the site nuclear safety case. Your responsibilities will include:
\n
\n Reviewing analyses, assessments, and calculations that support nuclear design substantiation. \n
Supporting periodic safety reviews and taking ownership of deliverables. \n
Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Site Safety Case, Human Factors, and Engineering Authority Teams. \n
Implementing design substantiation requirements and engaging with the wider business on related activities. \n
\n\n Core Duties:\n
\n Bring your experience from a complex or high-risk industry (e.g., Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Shipbuilding, etc.) to this role. \n
Hold a degree or have completed a time-served apprenticeship in a STEM subject, or possess equivalent working experience. \n
Showcase your ability to produce high-quality technical reports. \n
\n\n The Site Engineering – Nuclear Substantiation Team:\n
Join a key team with fantastic development opportunities in both technical and managerial streams. You’ll engage in the design substantiation and safety justification of various site assets and facilities, spanning mechanical, civil, and structural domains. This role offers a wealth of development opportunities through diverse avenues, allowing you to drive and deliver an exceptionally varied scope that aligns with your career aspirations.
