You will be part of a small, dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team working on pioneering projects that push the boundaries of innovation. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic systems from concept through to production. Provide expert technical guidance on all areas of electronics. Analyse electronic circuits. Generate requirements for electronic systems. Capture schematics and designs. Provide PCB layout advice and review. Select and review components. Take on varied engineering tasks to support projects and programs. Participate in internal and external meetings. Interface with customers on technical and project issues. Document your work in line with local operating procedures. Take an active role in Continuous Improvement.
Essential: Qualifications / skills required
A minimum of HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, demonstrating your strong education background. Extensive experience in electronic design, ideally in a regulated or high‑reliability industry. A team player mentality, thriving in a collaborative and supportive work environment. Quick learner with a flexible and adaptable approach. Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and techniques. Strong analogue circuit design and simulation experience. Electronics communication protocol experience, e.g. RS485, I2C, SPI. Experience with schematic capture and drawing review. Understanding of PCB layout supervision. Ability to plan own tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
Desirable
Experience with EMC design. Digital circuit design. Wiring definition experience. Experience with Altium Designer. Experience working within the defence or aerospace.
