Principal Electrical Engineer The Northern Lighthouse Board is the General Lighthouse Authority for Scotland and the Isle of Man, responsible for the superintendence and management of all lighthouses, buoys and beacons within those waters. Based at the NLB s Headquarters in central Edinburgh (with the option of hybrid working), as Principal Electrical Engineer you will be accountable for technical oversight of all NLB Electrical Systems in or on Aids to Navigation, Buildings, and Berths. This includes definition of planned and unplanned maintenance and renewal programmes, Electrical competency and training specifications, monitoring and implementation of relevant new technologies and be the technical approver of design and quality of electrical work.
