is seeking an experienced

Principal Designer

to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the design delivery of large-scale residential schemes, some comprising up to

1,000 units , across all project stages.

You will be managing a small team of talented architectural staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality drawing packages while also maintaining strong client relationships and involvement in technical output.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the Principal Designer duties across multiple volume residential developments Manage and mentor a team of 4–5 skilled technicians and architects Liaise directly with residential developer clients and coordinate project requirements Produce and review technical drawings and documentation Ensure design risk is managed in compliance with CDM regulations

Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a Principal Designer or Senior Architectural professional on large-scale residential projects Strong team leadership and client-facing skills In-depth knowledge of the design and construction process from planning to delivery Familiarity with UK Building Regulations and CDM duties P...
