A well-established, environmentally focused multi-disciplinary consultancy is strengthening its civil capability across development and regeneration schemes. As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will lead drainage design, Flood Risk Assessments and SuDS strategies from concept through to detailed delivery.

The Principal Civil Engineer will oversee technical quality, mentor junior staff and manage client relationships while working closely with environmental and planning teams. This Principal Civil Engineer role combines hands-on design expertise with leadership responsibility within a growing Cambridge office.

Key responsibilities
* Lead drainage design, SuDS strategies and Flood Risk Assessments
* Oversee calculations, reports and technical outputs
* Manage project delivery, budgets and client relationships
* Mentor engineers and graduates within the team
* Collaborate across multi-disciplinary project teams

Candidate requirements
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
* Strong experience in drainage, SuDS and flood risk design
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage or similar
* Chartered or working toward chartership
* Confident client-facing leadership capability
