Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking experienced Principal Civil Engineers to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead civil design on projects in the UK and Ireland, contributing to the development of sustainable water solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading civil design on water projects from inception to completion Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions Mentoring and supporting graduates and junior engineers Ensuring design deliverables are completed within required timescales and budgets Engaging with key water clients to help improve water systems across local communities Participating in the feasibility, outline and detailed design stages of projects Supporting ongoing professional development and striving towards chartership if not already chartered Maintaining excellent communication and collaboration across various team locations

Job Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification Experience within the water industry, including significant civil engineering experience Membership in a relevant engineering institution, actively working towards or already achieving chartership Proven ability to manage and deliver projects on time and within budget Strong team collaboration and leadership skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members Ability to mentor and support the development of junior staff
