Principal Calibration Engineer’s Key Responsibilities:

20% of the role will be to support the Head of Lab with UKAS duties to include certifications, admin and updating processes and procedures where required 80% of this role would be focused on First Principle and Calibration of both external customer components and internal manufactured parts to UKAS standards Providing technical support to colleagues and whilst ensuring that the lab environment is continuously monitored when it comes to temperature, humidity and general cleanliness Skills & Experience Required as a Principal Calibration Engineer:

Knowledge of UKAS/ ISO 17025 with experience working in a UKAS environment or laboratory Need to have hands on experience working with first principle calibration techniques High attention to detail with a quality focused mindset Must have strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and team members Full right to work in the UK This position would be perfect for someone living in Telford, Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton or the surrounding areas who is working as either a Metrology Engineer, Calibration Engineer, CMM Engineer or Quality Engineer and I looking for their next step up.
