Experience required… Essential:
Substantial UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client Experienced in the analysis, design, and assessment of bridges and other types of highway structures Experience of working on a wide range of bridge types including masonry arches, prestressed and post tensioned concrete, and various types of steel bridges. Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a good understanding of structural behaviour. Able to conduct structural analyses to assess the load‑carrying capacity of bridges in accordance with DMRB standards. Able to use behavioural understanding and experience to understand why structures may be performing better than assessments suggest.
Desirable:
CEng A full UK driving licence Relevant design software/CAD/Civils 3D where appropriate Experience of using LUSAS and ARCHIE-M
