Salary: £74,700 - £87,883 per annum Hours: Full time Contract: Permanent Location: London / Hybrid This is an exciting opportunity to take on a wide ranging legal advisory post where you will use your legal expertise to make a real impact - maintaining public confidence in dental services and protecting the safety of patients. As a Principal Advisory Lawyer, you will play a leading role at the General Dental Council, providing strategic and risk-based legal advice across a wide range of complex and high profile regulatory, wider public and commercial law matters. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading a team of lawyers ensuring the provision of accurate, timely, cost-effective and risk-based advice. Working proactively with senior stakeholders across the organisation to identify legal risk and design and implement mitigations. Contributing to decision-making and overseeing strategic and high-risk litigation. Critiquing draft legislation and working with external advisors on specialist matters. Contributing to the delivery of the GDC's corporate strategy and costed corporate plan.
