Teaching Assistant - Primary TA - Autism Support (Full-Time) | M24 Middleton| Start ASAP Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives?We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Middleton area. This full-time role is to start ASAP, supporting children with mild Autism (ASC) across Key Stages. Location:Middleton, Greater Manchester (M24) Start Date:Immediate / ASAP Hours:Full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only The Role: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with mild Autism Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement individual learning plans Encourage social interaction, communication, and emotional development Use a patient, nurturing and structured approach to help children thrive in the classroom Support children in accessing the curriculum and promoting positive behaviour What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with children with Autism or additional needs (school or care settings welcome) A calm, empathetic and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply) Ideal for: Experienced Teaching Assistants Psychology or Education graduates SEN Support Workers or Learning Mentors Anyone with a background in childcare or youth support looking to work in education Why Apply?
