KS1 and KS2 Primary Teacher - Stafford - Start Date: After Easter Term We are seeking to appoint a committed and adaptable primary teacher to support our local schools on a temporary, supply basis. The candidate should be enthusiastic with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum with a passion for creating engaging, inclusive learning for all pupils. You must be able to quickly build a rapport and positive relationships with both pupils and staff. Your duties as a primary teacher within a primary school vary; we expect you to bring a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum alongside hands-on experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Particularly working through a supply agency you should be confident in quickly adapting to new school environments, following existing planning or delivering pre-prepared lessons while ensuring continuity, progression and high expectations for all pupils. You should be passionate about education and in creating a positive, inclusive and an atmosphere where every child feels supported to learn. The role includes: * Delivering pre-planned lessons effectively and confidently to each and every classroom environment. * Quickly being able to adapt lessons to meet the needs of each and every learner within your classroom. * Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies. * Comfortable and confident in supporting pupils with varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners. * Being able to work collaboratively with new members of staff in different schools; this can range from SLT members, Teaching Assistants and Wrap-Around Care Assistants. * Marking work where required. * Upholding all safeguarding policies and procedures at all times. We are looking for someone who: * Can support a whole class within the primary years on a day-to-day basis. * Confidently able to implement differentiated learning to adapt to each and every child within the classroom. * Able to build solid relationships with staff quickly. * Flexible and adaptable to different school settings and expectations. * Dedicated to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. * Able to foster and maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environments for all pupils. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Available to start ASAP. * Fully registered to work for Academics. * Holds or willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS. * Willing to commute to Stafford daily.
