About the Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher to work across schools in the Consett area throughout the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs looking to gain varied school experience, secure long-term roles, or enjoy the flexibility of supply work.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with curriculum expectations.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to support development.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and departmental teams.
Adapt confidently to different school environments and year groups where required.

✅ Key Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
A proactive and flexible approach to supply teaching.
An up-to-date DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
A driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly beneficial for reaching multiple schools in the area.
