A welcoming and supportive small, semi-rural primary school in the Chesterfield area is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team to teach a mixed Year 1/2 class.

This is a four-day-a-week role, with Thursdays excluded, and offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a close-knit school community with an established and supportive staff team.

Initially, the successful candidate will be employed by Tradewind Recruitment, with the intention that the role will become permanent through the school's own recruitment process in the new year, subject to a successful appointment.

The role:

Teaching a mixed Year 1/2 class

Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

The successful candidate will:

Hold QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1

Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
