Job Title: Primary Teacher Location: The Grange Therapeutic School, Knossington, Oakham LE15 8LY Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per annum (Not pro rata) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Rota: Monday to Thursday 8.30am 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am 4.00pm Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only Start Date: January 2026 UK applicants only. About the role As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging, creative, and personalised learning experiences, ensuring the curriculum is taught in a way that builds confidence, curiosity, and achievement. Key Responsibilities Deliver creative, inclusive lessons tailored to individual pupil needs Plan and teach the primary curriculum to maximise engagement and progress Create a calm, positive learning environment that promotes wellbeing and achievement Work closely with colleagues and support staff to meet the needs of all learners Use innovative and flexible teaching approaches to inspire pupils Support pupils personal, social, and emotional development alongside academic learning About You Calm, engaging, and resilient, with a pupil-centred approach Passionate about making a genuine difference in children s lives Confident in adapting teaching strategies for a range of learning needs Committed to delivering high-quality primary education Motivated, reflective, and eager to see every child succeed Essential Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching within Primary Education Desirable Experience working in an SEN setting SEN or related qualification Two or more years classroom experience, ideally within primary education About Us The Grange Therapeutic School is an independent school for students aged 8 -18 years with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
