Ltd are currently working in partnership with a primary school in

Congleton who are seeking a

Year 2

Teacher to join their team from 20th

April.

This is a full-time position initially running until

May half term, with a strong possibility of continuing through to the end of the academic year for the right candidate.

The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with the

Key

Stage 1 curriculum.

As this is a

Year 2 class, confidence in supporting pupils in the lead up to end of

Key

Stage 1 assessments is highly desirable.

You will be joining a supportive team and will be expected to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, ensuring consistency and continuity in the classroom.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the

K S1 curriculum

Prepare pupils for end of

Key

Stage 1 assessments ( S A Ts) Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress

Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents/carers

Requirements

Qualified

Teacher

Status ( Q T S) or equivalent

Experience teaching in

Key

Stage 1, ideally

Year 2 Strong classroom management and organisational skills

Ability to commit from 20th

April through to at least

May half term

A proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach

Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
