An established and welcoming primary school in Dartford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis until the end of the academic year.

The Role:
Full-time teaching position within a Year 1 class
Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviourThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
Be committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about teaching
Have a sound understanding of phonics and early learning strategiesThe School Offers:
