Primary Teacher / KS2 Lead
Salary: £35,000 – £48,000pa | Hours: Full-time, Term only| Location: Cambridge

We’re supporting a specialist school in recruiting a Primary Teacher / Key Stage 2 Lead to join their dedicated team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about delivering a tailored, high-quality curriculum for children on the autistic spectrum and helping a school thrive.
What the role involves:
* Teaching a small class of up to 10 pupils, delivering an engaging, differentiated curriculum that inspires and challenges.
* Leading and supporting Key Stage staff, monitoring learner progress, behaviour, and achievement.
* Overseeing IEPs, IBPs, EHCPs, and termly reports to ensure every learner reaches their full potential.
* Organising assemblies, parents’ evenings, and meetings for staff, parents, and pupils.
* Contributing to whole-school initiatives, improvement planning, and safeguarding.
* Providing mentoring, guidance, and supervision to colleagues within the Key Stage.
Who we’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status with a good honours degree.
* Experience supporting learners with special educational needs, particularly autism.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate staff and drive change.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and ICT skills.
* A passion for creating a stimulating, inclusive, and innovative learning environment.
Desirable:
* SEN/Autism qualifications or knowledge of PDA profile.
* Experience with EHCPs, IEPs/IBPs, and school improvement planning.
* Additional leadership or professional qualifications, e.g., NPQML.
