What does the role entail?

Deliver high-quality lessons in line with school policies and the National Curriculum. Provide cover for both planned and unplanned teacher absences. Manage classrooms effectively, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Work across various Key Stages, from Early Years to Key Stage 2, adapting to different subjects and year groups. Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and create own plans when necessary. Demonstrate flexibility and availability at short notice for same-day emergency cover or scheduled absences (e.g., PPA time, training days). Adapt teaching styles to suit different classes and learning needs. What are we looking for?

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Have experience teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. Demonstrate a positive and adaptable approach to teaching. Possess strong classroom management skills to deliver engaging and effective lessons. Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply as part of the recruitment process). What Teaching Personnel Offer? All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
