Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Job Title: SEND TAArea: Bury, ManchesterStart Date: Monday 9th March 2026Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time Salary: £105.00 - £140.00 per day (depending on experience) Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm About the school: We are currently partnering with a welcoming and inclusive SEND primary school in Bury that is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties, and complex communication needs. This full-time position involves working with children across Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7) and Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11), supporting their academic progress as well as their social and emotional development. You will play an important role in creating positive, trusting relationships with pupils, delivering both one-to-one and small group support, and helping to maintain a supportive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to engage creatively with children are essential, as your work will make a meaningful impact on their learning and personal development.
