Primary School Teaching Assistant - Cardiff

The successful candidate will provide general classroom support during the foundation phase of the primary school. Key duties involve assisting with lesson implementation, managing classroom behaviour, and contributing to creating an engaging, safe learning environment. The role requires strong communication skills, patience, and a proactive approach to supporting children with a range of needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and emotional behaviour difficulties (EBD). Knowledge of safeguarding policies, and appropriate behaviour management techniques, are essential. A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 2/3 in childcare or equivalent is preferred.
