Job Description

Horizon Teachers are working with a welcoming and well-led primary school in Lewisham to appoint a committed and confident Class Teacher for a September start to teach their Year 3 class. This is a full-time opportunity within a school that places a strong emphasis on staff support, pupil wellbeing, and high-quality teaching.
This is a school where teachers are trusted to teach. Behaviour is well managed, routines are consistent, and leadership is visible and supportive. The role:
  • Full class responsibility within a primary year group
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
  • Creating a calm, focused and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitoring progress and using assessment to inform teaching
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement
