Year 1 Primary School Teacher (Permanent)

Reeson Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded mainstream primary school in Balham seeking a confident and experienced Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner looking to take on a subject leadership responsibility alongside their class teaching commitment. The school is keen to appoint someone who combines high academic expectations with creativity and strong early Key Stage 1 pedagogy.

The Year 1 cohort benefits from clear routines, supportive leadership and a collaborative parallel teaching structure.

The successful candidate will:

• Have recent UK experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of phonics delivery and early reading development
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and pupil progress
• Show confidence leading a foundation or core subject across the school
• Be organised, reflective and committed to continuous professional development
• Contribute positively to the wider school community
