Year 5 Class Teacher - Summer Term (Full-Time)

Location: Wandsworth Town Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time (until end of Summer Term)

A mainstream primary school in Wandsworth Town is seeking a committed and experienced Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis for the remainder of the Summer term.

This is an immediate start role, running through to the end of the academic year, and would suit a teacher with strong Key Stage 2 experience who can quickly establish themselves within the classroom and maintain consistency for pupils.

The class has 19 pupils, including 3 children with EHCPs, and is supported by 2 Teaching Assistants. While support is in place, the class can present some behavioural challenges, so strong behaviour management and a confident classroom presence are essential.

The Role Will Involve:

Full classroom responsibilities including planning, delivery, and assessment Working collaboratively with 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupil progress Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment Supporting pupils with additional needs, including those with EHCPs Utilising allocated PPA time for planning and preparation
