Year 2 Class Teacher - Maternity Cover (After Easter Start) Pay Scale: M1-M6 (Depending on experience) Contract: April 2026 - December 2026 (Potential extension until at least January 2027) Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 practitioner looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join a warm, nurturing and community-focused infant setting for a maternity cover starting after the Easter break . As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support children's academic and personal development Provide high-quality teaching in line with the KS1 curriculum, with a strong emphasis on phonics, early writing, and number fluency Work closely with a supportive team of teachers and support staff Contribute to the positive, child-centred ethos of the school Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues This role offers the exciting possibility of extension until at least January 2027 , depending on staffing needs.
